What the agent promises isn't really relevant. It's too pricy for a 30 y/o ED. The Bengals know this. They set the bar high so they have no one to 'bid against', per se. They have him trapped and they know it.
I'm sure numerous teams would be willing to pay the contract he's looking for though, or something close.
