Hendrickson lost me when he turned his nose up at the 28 million.
While i agree that he likely thought the number was a bit low, i think the bigger sticking point is the number of years. That's the one thing he keeps harping on in almost every interview. He wants long term security.
It's seemingly why he has come back multiple times for extensions. The Bengals gave him 4 years initially and the extension was for only 1 more year. He's "only" 30 years old. I'm sure he feels he still has 4 or 5 good years left. Plus, he's spoke several times of wanting to be here, not wanting to go to the highest bidder.
