It's seemingly why he has come back multiple times for extensions. The Bengals gave him 4 years initially and the extension was for only 1 more year. He's "only" 30 years old. I'm sure he feels he still has 4 or 5 good years left. Plus, he's spoke several times of wanting to be here, not wanting to go to the highest bidder.
