I assume we just force him to play out his contract here, which means we have 2025 to win the SB because he's going to get a big deal in 2026 and it won't be from us, or else we'd give him one now, so our defense 2026 onward is going to risk being ultra crap. Maybe we had just start telling ourselves that having the 32nd ranked defense is a good thing, because Burrow will see winning it all with that D as the ultimate challenge, or something.
I suspect our D will be better than the last year's. Will it be better with Trey, no doubt, but either way I feel it will be better.
