Terrible and nonsensical argument. I'd say if everyone on the roster performs well enough to deserve the kind of raise he wants, then it's a good problem to have. We all know that that scenario will never occur. So no, every player will not want a raise if you give one to Trey. The team takes when players underperform.
You have to have your head buried pretty deep in the sand to suggest that what a top 5 player on the roster and elite player in the league does will impact "every player".
In case you haven't been watching, almost every high end player in the league wants a raise when he outperforms his deal. Most teams deal with this at some point. It just happens to be our turn now.
