Bengals Board Fantasy Baseball (The Show)

You just have to do your homework on pitchers and hope they go out and have a good day. Tough loss this week! You been climbing though. I definitely see a difference in the results. Like I said though, if it's a must win game and one is a good chunk behind, you almost have to chase pitching. Just be smart about it like you have been doing.

I needed to plug in a pitcher to catch KK on Saturday. I had two in mind. I plugged in Cabrera and it worked out. The other one I had in mind had a pretty good day as well, so it would have worked out either way for me, this time.

Yes, there are different ways to draft and play this game.  However I've noticed the last place teams often have no pitching innings or pitching points on the season.  That tells me you have to at least try to have a combo of hitting and pitching to avoid last place only 2 or 3 wins and a ton of losses.

I've drafted pitching heavy.  This year I wanted to lock in my infield to go with Judge and De La Cruz and Closer Clase in Round 3. So I didn't start drafting pitchers until middle rounds.  This is why I'm now taking a chance on all these IL pitchers on my roster who were not able to go in April and May.  Ranger Suarez is already doing well off IL.  Perez comes back next week, and when healthy he has Hunter Greene stuff.  If I get Shane Bieber back around All-Star Game to Play-Offs, he is like a Tom Seaver. I like my hitters, and I'm trying build a pitching staff that I can like in 2nd half of season to play-offs.  If I can get my Starters lined up, I will try to add a couple good 8th inning Holds Relievers to go with Clase and Pagan on Saves.

I'm very excited to see what my 6 or 7 off IL end up doing pitching.  I like Fantasy because we each have different styles, unlike Ai computer mocks that are always the same.  Human vs Human, each week is different, and that is the Fun of it.  Same with Fantasy Football. Many ways to draft and win, Many ways to draft and lose. Injuries and Bad Luck play into it.  I like that I am 70 years old, and I know the names of all the new players, unlike old guys still talking about Pete Rose or the 2005 Bengals. Thanks to Fantasy, I know new players of today, and at age 70, it's good that I keep my mind in today, not decades ago. So besides the Fun, I like that I know who the new players are in baseball and football.  The time off from football to baseball is a needed break from my Fantasy Sports hobby.  It's not gambling, and I've discovered I'm too cheap to gamble now that it is legal.  I hate losing money, and I can save more than I could ever win simply by not gambling at all.  Fantasy is enough for me. I went to local casino on Football 2 weeks when it became legal, and I really don't like casino's, I discovered.  Housizzles and Tecmo and others in Fantasy I like, not casinos.
