They are betting on the idea that Peters will actually coach up the youngsters unlike what was happening. And to be honest it isn't such a long shot. Fairchild and Rivers are both potential NFL starters. Volson if someone can just get him to set low consistently is a better Guard because the plays he DID actually set correctly he looked pretty good - it was the ones he didn't where he gave his chest up and lost anchor. Lee has potential and they even got a UFDA that by all rights should have been drafted (Seth McLaughlin).
