His contract still cost the Chiefs 6.5 million. Now imagine a first round pick like Stewart doing something off field like that and costing the Bengals 19 million. Can you not understand why the Bengals want that language in Stewarts contract? or even Knight's? More teams are adding that language because of the stuff you see some of these guys like Rashee Rice doing off the field. You shouldn't get to drive your Lamborghini 120 mph on public roads, cause accidents that injure people and have your contract guaranteed. Teams should be able to have the option to cut players for behavior like that not have the players be rewarded with millions of dollars guaranteed every year no matter how bad they act. That's just ridiculous.
