April, May and June almost over. We are more than halfway around the track. I like what my pitching is doing this week. Pitchers are stepping up. Injured pitchers are pitching again. The pitcher for Cubs is back tomorrow, so I had to take him off IL. I added an IL pitcher to swap out on IL. So I added Shane Bieber again, who I would love to have come back for the Play-Offs. The Mets pitcher will be coming off my IL in a week or two. Bieber maybe around August. So I will watch what The Cubs pitcher and Perez for Marlins do back from injury trying to get back on track. I have to give them some weeks to settle back in. My pitching is becoming solid and injured pitchers coming back could give me Play-Off Pitching. I know Ohio Guz had all the pitching early, but my pitching could be tough by Play-Offs. If on hitting Aaron Judge hits 60 homers for me and De La Cruz and others are on, I could have Hitting and Pitching this Play-Offs.
I would love to have so much pitching, that I make few free agent moves. I would not drop top pitchers to do that adding Sunday pitchers stuff. If I get my staff of good pitchers, I won't be dropping them. Clase and Pagan of Cleveland and Cincinnati are great closers. I've had to go with several starters who are also listed as relievers, because they are too good to drop for a reliever. Rasmussen often sits in my 3rd reliever spot, because he is one of my best starters, so why move him back and forth from bench.
Thursday I have 3 pitchers trying to stay on my team. Baz, Bibbee, and the Cubs good pitcher back from injury. All 3 have the ability to be great pitchers, but it comes down to what they do gong forward. I'm going with Euvy Perez struggles, because if he gets settled in back from IL, he could be great, so I keep letting him pitch his innings. The ones who pitch well will stay and the ones who don't I will drop. I have a good stable of pitchers right now, If they are on, they could make me a Play-off power. July and August and September will show if they become a great staff or not. They look good going into 4th of July.
