Bengals were 2nd to last place in the division and approached FA and the draft like they were 1st place. Ravens and Steelers approached FA and the draft like they were in last place.

From a talent standpoint, if you compare the rosters, Bengals really no longer compare talent wise (with the exception of Chase). Not like they used to anyway when Bengals were clearly one of the most talented teams in the league if not the division. 


Bengals defensive rookies were paying much better the last third of the season...bengals hired a new defensive coach and acquired numerous defensive players through the draft and FA..maybe just not the players you wanted..lets have this discussion in October
