I know you weren't talking to me, but I figured Shemar could contribute as a run stopper right off the bat. He was very good at sealing the edge
at Texas A&M and we need to be able to replace what Sam Hubbard brought when he was healthy. Both Murphy and Ossai were not good at sealing
the edge last season in the run game.
I agree with you though, him missing time practicing with the team will hurt his progress as a rookie and it has been dumb of him not to sign.
To act like missing this time won't hurt him at all is ignorant IMO.
