Sometimes they won't even be able to create a 6 man blocking surface when Mike is the TE in 11 Personnel similar to 2022 with Hayden Hurst.
Chase Brown is an excellent running back but Inside Zone and Duo consistently from a light formation is not where he shines. Pressing the hole changing gaps and running through lots of contact.
Is there a reason teams don't run the 2 back pro set any more? Being short All, if they were able to use a back, it might help? Also, with 2 capable RBs in the backfield, you wouldn't be able to key on one. Seems to offer some versatility.
*obviously, size is an issue but you don't need to block a guy downfield. Just get in his way, cut him, etc.
