But the point of the thread is what would be your preference if there was a discussion about a domed stadium for the Bengals or not, so whether a decision has been made about renovations to Paycor or not is irrelevant for this thread.

You say 95% of the time the weather in Cincinnati is not so adverse, but what's your definition of adverse?
IMO, that's subjective.
Some may consider sitting in 90 degree weather adverse. In which case, the first game or two of the season could fit in that category.
Some may consider below 40 degrees adverse.
Some may consider snow adverse.
Some may consider downpour rain adverse.

Whether they choose to attend or not attend a game in-person because of the temps or inclement weather doesn't make them a fan or not.
A fan is someone who roots for a team. Period.
Not just ones who buy season tickets.
Not just ones who attend games in-person.
Not just ones who buy merchandise.
