Last time I was up your way I was driving my ladies new Rav4 which does that.  I did it to cross the mountain, and she flipped, acting as if it was going to break the thing.

Yeah....our last Jetta had the slap shift....pretty fun to drive, but nothing beats trying to cram the clutch pedal through the floorboard during a shift. Cool
