I'll suggest August 27th and why. Right now it shows we draft an hour after midnight. Yahoo gave us no help on random time.
Last year we drafted on a Wednesday at 7 PM. AUGUST 27th is a Wednesday after Preseason and Preseason Injuries are over, and well before first regular season game September 5th. Enough time for people to draft and make free agent changes to any mistakes they made.
So I suggest something like Wednesday August 27th at 7 PM, since we drafted on a Wednesday at 7 PM last season and people must have went along with that. Yahoo giving us 1 AM has to be changed.
Another date would be Wednesday AUGUST 20th at 7 PM, since we drafted on Wednesday August 21st at 7 PM last year.
I get why we drafted on Wednesday at 7 last year. It's after most off work or school. Weekend is not good because some involved in Friday or Saturday or Sunday Football at Grade School, High School, College level. So I guess that's why it was Wednesday last year for our draft.
Notes show there was last minute problems with our draft, and some got their spots moved. Not sure what went wrong with Yahoo last year, but I do remember we could not get onto the draft, but League Managers did get us into it in time. Whatever went wrong on that needs avoided. Was somebody trying to trade their draft spots, whatever it was gummed things up. Luckily it got fixed enough that we did have a draft. Maybe trading draft spots after Yahoo date and time is set, is not a good idea. We were lucky to get in and draft, and some were unhappy their spots were moved.
Anyway, I suggest August 20th or August 27th at 7 PM, because we drafted on Wednesday August 21st at 7 PM last year, and it must have been OK with people.....Yahoo showing 1 AM is an awful time for this year draft.
