Brooks' head coach at Texas Tech, Joey McGuire, says the running back was one of the best in the country on third down, specifically at picking up blitzes.

Lots of compliments from his HC, I know fluff but nice article and proof will be if he can beat out Perrine for playing time.

Some have mentioned concern for wear and tear as a lot of touches, but likely in 2025 his touches will be limited so a year to get his body back into great shape physically.

Not so sure that he has to "beat out" Perine for playing time as much as just show that he can handle the NFL game. Perine is a good player, wish that he'd been with the Bengals the past two seasons, but he's also 30 and not getting any younger. The fact that the team signed him to a 2 year deal, with only $400K guaranteed shows me that the team sees him as an expendable insurance policy.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations
