I dont 100% put the blame on Lou because he never really had a bunch of talent on defense to work with to begin with and some of the better talent he did have, the Bengals organization let walk. If Lou really was the problem, we should see a dramatic jump this year on defense with all the returning talent Golden was left in his lap plus the talent that has been added since last year.
The problem with Lou were some of his preferences in the draft and unagressive defense.
