Its hard for me to form an accurate opinion without specific details but just on the surface I find myself siding with teams on this stuff. Why should you pay someone who's not playing for you and isn't doing what you're requesting them to in order to be able to play. But again so specifics so just a high level opinion.
Sounds like the Raiders wanted Wilkins to get a second surgery and he declined. Now he isn't ready for training camp and I'm betting since they released him will miss some games.
