I don’t blame the Raiders at all. I hate “Guaranteed” contracts. It’s a contact sport. When a player can assure me they will stay healthy the whole season, then we can talk guaranteed money. Never going to happen. This dude was a beast but there must be more to this than what we know. I’m sure there will be plenty of teams interested, but missing out on 33mil just because you didn’t rehab is crazy. He did this to himself. Do we want this in the locker room. Could be a great dude, I dunno. He must have really screwed up for the Raiders to even feel comfortable voiding his contract knowing they will have to battle with the players union. I’m either way on this one. Don’t really care if we take a flyer on him. He’s still better than most of what we have on the line even with a bum toe.
