As others have pointed out that watched a lot of Stewart's film, he was asked to attack the B-gap a ton and wasn't really let loose to attack
Tackles on the edge. He will not be the End Offenses will try to take away here, that will be Trey and even Ossai and maybe Murphy if he
comes around now that he is in better shape. Stewart will be let loose here and if you cannot see a dude with big time size, speed and
strength going at Mims in these camp vids I don't know what to tell you.
The dude could be a wrecking ball right off the bat for this Defense, especially in sealing the edge in the run game. Who knows if he learns
to finish or not. That is really my question with Shemar Stewart...
I know it was padded practice, but when is the last time a rookie was mentioned having 3 straight very good defensive plays. I love passes being tipped or knoecked down. He has the size and athleticism to create turnovers. I do believe he is raw and it will take time, but I also have faith in Golden to do for Stewart what Reid did for WR Worthy last year, use him to his srengths while he is learning.
Worthy made an impact because Reid utilized his athletic ability while he is learning to be a complete WR.
