I'd put a lot more credibility in the stories of ownerships' dissatisfaction with Wilkins' approach to rehabbing injury than the kissing incident. I don't doubt that it happened, just think it's a convenient thing to throw on the pile. The way that contract ended was unusual enough to warrant multiple excuses.

No idea if I'd want him on the team. He had a great reputation as a leader in Miami. If he actually went against the team's wishes in his rehab, I think the reputation is damaged.

As an affordable reclamation project? Sure. I think he can probably still get more than the Bengals would be willing to shell out for him.
