So that's where my confusion sets in. Even numbers line up directly over so i'd expect 6 to be directly over the TE (0 over C, 2 over G, 4 over T). Odd numbers shade outside, interior even numbers shading inside (2i G, 4i T). Where it gets a little funky is the TE. The numbers aren't linear out there. From my understanding, 6 head up on the TE but then 7 is shading inside the TE and 9 is shading outside the TE...(two odd numbers)

I wonder how much freedom Trey has to decide hand down or stand up because like i said, i've seen him do it multiple ways. 

I agree w/4, 5 being LE/RE. 
With what i said above about the TE, i wonder if 6/7 is LEO/REO w/ some 5 depending on spacing (as you said above about OLB), with hand down.
Which would leave 6/7/9 standing up as LOLB/ROLB.

I just wonder if the presence or not of a TE has anything to do with determining it?
