I coached club soccer for almost 20 years. But, it was unpaid and I had my career and then bought a business. I then went was hired and coached high school soccer, the JV team and also helpedthe varsity.

I spent more money driving the 25 miles each way than I made. So, yes it take a passion to do something you love and so it for nothing. I loved it and would still be doing but sometimes life makes up stop.

I urge Syric to volunteer or get hired as a high school coach, it is time consuimg, but rewarding. I worked 50 to 60 hours a week and then did the soccer thing for over 20 years, it can be done, but lots of sacrifces.
