I spent more money driving the 25 miles each way than I made. So, yes it take a passion to do something you love and so it for nothing. I loved it and would still be doing but sometimes life makes up stop.
I urge Syric to volunteer or get hired as a high school coach, it is time consuimg, but rewarding. I worked 50 to 60 hours a week and then did the soccer thing for over 20 years, it can be done, but lots of sacrifces.
I do at the high school and I did coach 12-14 year Olds for a couple years. I actually got to volunteer this summer st a Semi Pro training camp. The Wheeling Iron Men restarted their team this year and it was an experience being around real college coaches even if they were d2 and d3. I was just checking names off as they went through drills but it was fun.
