Amazing how easy the NFL draft is when you have 3 years of hindsight on your side.
Most of those players were already pretty good at football though.
Hunt was a giant "What if..." he was already advanced in age, limited in football, not a bender and piled his stats vs a lot of kids 4 years his junior or more. He was a grown ass man beating up 19 year olds.
He never should have been a second round pick. Everything about him said "mid-to-late"
But people saw he ran in a straight line well and was very strong. Then he hit the absurd DE benchmarks we have for height-weight.
Recipe for disaster.
