He is not a first time offender. he was fined four times this season. Compare to james Harrison, who received a suspension after two fines. Taze is lucky he was not suspended earlier in the season, that's where the precedent is... but you conveniently ignore that.
The NFL is inconsistent, yes. Taze's suspension is probably too long... but it also is odd he wasn't sat down before this. It cuts both ways, and it doesn't strike me as a "fix" whatsoever. Just inconsistent as it has always been.
