My comments were entirely serious and true whether you like them or not. When one changes a major portion of their social life, they find that some (not all) of people they consider friends, really weren't. They were just people you hung with to do that social activity. If you're a smoker and quit smoking, or a drinker and quit drinking or a druggie and quit drugging, when you quit those activities, your friends will change. Fact.
And having grown up in Appalachia, I can attest that my analysis was fact, not prejudice.
Enjoy your drinkin!
Very true. I've lost touch with tons of friends because all they cared about was drinking or partying. I'm getting into my final year in college and I've lost all desire to do all that anymore. I got serious about school, got a girlfriend and really didn't want to be doing the same stupid stuff anymore with my friends all the time. Surprise, your friends change and you find new people.
