But in general I agree we need to add some talent to the D-line. I still have some hope for Hardison. It is not unusual for a player to make drastic improvements from his rookie to his second season. But guys who have been around a while like Clarke (2 yrs) and Hunt (3 yrs) are probably not going to suddenly get a lot better.
Don't look at his sack numbers because they are misleading. He was playing next to an all-pro DT and pro-bowl DE, he is not good and most of them sacks came on break downs by the oline. I do agree we need to infuse some more talent though across the line and I hope that Hardison can be a more effective Gilberry and that Williams can be more effective than Sims or Thompson. As for Clarke and Hunt, I want to hold out hope, but I can't, they just don't seem to be worth the wait.
