It's not likely that Dalton will miss time anyway. That play was a major fluke.

We could draft or sign a decent backup....name some names.  If they were decent, they would already have a job.  And this year's draft is rather thin on NFL caliber quarterbacks.  A bird in hand is worth more than 2 in the bush.
