If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it is, fix it. And apparently if it's somewhere in between (i.e. Marvin and the Bengals) let it roll baby roll. 

When I shared this story on Facebook I added that this should not prevent the team, ownership or coaches from being criticized.

Some fans carry it too far, but no one and nothing is perfect.  Citing the bad parts shouldn't mean you want to scrap the whole thing.
