In truth, we usually offer less guaranteed and sometimes that's enough for a player to go elsewhere. Guaranteed money is tough to pass up for some.

Can't blame the guys for taking the guaranteed money in an occupation where one misstep or hit can end your career. I wouldn't bank on the future if I was a player either, gimme that guaranteed $$$$!!
