Why do I point this out? Because the WRs that we let walk were mid to low round picks. We seem to fill out our WR group by developing them in lower rounds. I don't think that will change. I look for Mario Alford and Rex Burkhead to step up and fill that WR#3 spot. I also don't see the Bengals drafting WR in round #1 as this is a shallow WR class (by most measures). I think we'll target a DT or DE. If the ones they covet in those two positions are not there don't be shocked if we trade down and pick the OC from Alabama.
I actually agree with Eaton and Beaker and this is a very solid point. The team should be able to grab a very good WR in rounds 2 or 3. Then add a burner late as well as a couple of UDFA at WR.
I like the guys that we already have, Alford and Kumerow may surprise folks this year.
