Trust me I hope he does well. But I think his contributions on offense will be about equal to what we got from aj hawk on defense last year.

False. LaFell (119 targets) was Brady's #3 target that year behind Edelman (134 targets) and Gronk (131 targets).

Lafell was in a very similar role there to how he'll be used here.

Btw, last year was MLJ's best season and he was playing with an MVP candidate. He hasn't topped 712 yards in any other year.

LaFell's best 2 seasons (953 yards and 677 yards) and very similar to MLJ's (816 yards and 712 yards) no matter how you slice it.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
