During today’s Pro Football Talk, Mike Florio interviewed the Steeler’s General Manager Kevin Colbert. Mike asked Kevin if William Jackson III was the guy that the Steelers wanted in the draft. Kevin Colbert said that they had identified several corners who they would have been happy to have had in the first round. He said that there were starting corners in the first four rounds. He said that the night before the draft he felt like they would end up with Artie Burns.
I think the Steel Curtain article about smoke screens and Jedi mind trick is all bogus and was written to pander to the Steeler fan base. It is certainly not responsible sports journalism.
