Yes.  The reaction of thy bystanders did not help one bit, nor did the mother screaming at the child.  Had people remained calm there could have been a completely different outcome.  Unfortunately everyone had to take their phone out, watch this go down and emote feverishly to sell their terror for their FB followers.

Of coarse, mom could have just kept the kid from going in there like every other person ever has done.  But, that is too much to ask of parents these days.
