Their defense is nowhere near as complete as that of Cincinnati. Sure, they are improving, but they simply aren't as talented across the board on defense. Their plan of scoring 30 per game took a huge hit with the loss of Bell and Bryant. Heath Miller is also a security blanket Pig Ben will miss.
I just hope Andy comes in there week 2 and puts up something like 35 points. Ruin them early, watch them implode and turn to the chronic :hooked:
Between Heath and Bryant, they lost 1300 yards + 8 TDs from last season. That's more than MLJ and Sanu. Not to mention the suspension/health of Bell and the health of Ben, etc. I'm not saying they'll totally collapse, but it seems the national media is over the top with praise for their offense (CBS is suggesting they'll be "historic") and all too quick to dismiss their losses and question marks.
The Bengals are receiving the opposite treatment.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
