More confident.
Andy took a step back. The defense also took a step back. Jones couldn't stay healthy. Eifert couldn't stay healthy. Atkins only had 3 sacks all season. Heck, that defense only had 20 sacks all season. Last year, Dunlap and Atkins surpassed that combined.
The 2014 team had it's injuries, sure. But almost everyone on the team seemed to have taken a step back.
I do believe we are going to miss Hue and Jones more than we are admitting. Possibly even Nelson. But this team still has a ton of talent and has shown they can grow.
So definitely more confident. I don't think many people saw us after 2014 going 8-0 and Dalton being in the talks of MVP before injury.
2015 we almost won a playoff game. With our backup QB. So yes, definitely more confident.
