I say with these early injuries, the team struggles early in the season. This results in major meltdowns in this forum, calls for MLs head, threats of never going to a Bengals game again, and the usually sky is falling mentality. But we get healthy mid to late season, and the infusion of rested players, at critical positions results in all cylinders firing late in the season and into the playoffs. We sneak into the playoffs at 9-7 or possibly 10-6, then not only win that elusive playoff game, but also a couple more to go on a deep playoff run. Predictably, everyone is suddenly happy, knew it all along, and was just kidding when they said they were quitting the Bengals.
