Great post.
Often times, when we're cocky/over-confident in the team we are let down by lack-luster performances. We expect that health and talent will equal W's. Seems as though most folks want nothing less than a 100% healthy roster, and when they have that, suddenly the team is SuperBowl bound. The reality is: this is PRO FOOTBALL. Injuries are the norm, thus the need for depth and versatility. And even with that "healthy" roster, nothing is guaranteed.
That being said, I personally am a bit less confident about the team this season due to multiple issues. Questions at WR, TE, OL, S. That's 4 position groups that we just don't know about at this point. But I sure as heck ain't gonna cry that the world is coming to an end over it!
It's just football and there's always next season if it all goes down the tubes.
I agree with OP that we have A TON of healthy talent. Enough to possibly over-shadow the injuries and lack of experience. We'll see!!
