I think people were just spoiled by our remarkable (other than Dalton) health last season. This level of injuries is fairly normal and we haven't even lost any key players really. Eifert is going to miss a couple. Big whoop. It's better than when he missed the entire season in 2014. In that same year, we played without MLJ, Burfict, Green, Michael Johnson, etc etc. Plus we may as well have been without Atkins. These injuries are a joke compared to all that.
Billings- I loved the pick, but our DT depth will be the same as last year (good)
WJ3- Probably wasn't going to play much anyway
LaFell- I'm cautiously optimistic that he just needs some rest and will be ready week 1
Eifert- Easily the biggest loss, and it looks like he'll miss maybe 2-3 games (same as last year)
CedOg- I'm glad Fisher will get a look. Ced shouldn't miss much time though.
I'm pretty sure the other injuries are even more insignificant.

The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
