His peak was as dominant as any. That said, he won't get in for 2 reasons combined. For one, he needed to get closer to 13k career yards. Unfortunately, his career took a nosedive at 30, so he wasn't able to stick around and pad his numbers (ala Hines or Bettis). Sadly, HOF voters have always prioritized sheer numbers over actual dominance. That's why Bettis is in over Corey Dillon. Currently, the standard for WRs is around 13,000 yards. Guys getting in lately have always had that much or more. He was a couple good seasons away. Sad, really.
