Does anyone know why, when it was so wet, we had multiple receivers dropping passes and they were playing without receiving gloves? Then after the drop, they'd put gloves on finally. I noticed this specifically with Kroft and Uzomah. Those gloves are so much easier to catch with in wet conditions, why were they not wearing them the whole game!? Head shaker on that one for me... just one thing I noticed in relation to SOME of the drops, but certainly not all of them. Even then we probably still would have had 4 to 6 drops, I would think... not good at this level, even in pretty poor conditions
But to the OP point, I give Zampese a flat C. I would LOVE to have some sort of token success at running the ball, but if we ran it even more, and gained less yardage passing. I doubt the running averages would be any better. Our Oline hasn't run blocked well AT ALL. We likely start 0-2 if we ran the ball more, so can't give Zampese less than a C at this point, as we are at .500 through two games. And we all knew this first four game stretch was going to be killer.
