The Bengals sometimes bring in fired coaches as consultants or as assistants with the idea of promoting them in a year or two. Hue Jackson and Coyle come to mind recently, but there have been others in years past.

Should the team reach out to Tom Coughlin about coming in as a consultant or game planner or assistant head coach or any thing really?
