Prospects don't all become good players. Some of them do not even become decent players. That is why you have to keep as many of the good players as you can who have already proven they can play in the majors.
It's crazy to believe we have good players in their prime ! After Frazier there's very little left to make a case for. We're batting .212 with RISP, only 1 team worse in the entire league. And this isn't just a bump in the road it's the same theme 3 years running. Get a clue
