I don't know if you'd be interesting in reading it, but there's a book called Bobby Mackey's: A Gatewell to Hell that is an interesting read. A buddy of mine let me borrow in college. I want to say it's only about 300 pages. It goes into a lot of detail of what was happening when he first bought the place. And I think there was an employee/caretaker that supposedly got the worst of it.
I'm about 90% sure that most of it is bs. But that 10% chance absolutely terrifies me. The legends that surround that property are all sorts of spooky. Just the one story alone, about the woman Pearl who was murdered by her fiance, and they never found her head, is enough to make it a great story. Then you get into all of the other stuff. Whoa.
