IMO the crappy drafting is a result of almost no scouts to honestly evaluate college players. The FO treats scouting like an afterthought, or more realistically NO thought.   I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the Bengals draft team and FO select players they may have seen on ESPN once. In the 90's drafted players were the ones seen on the 11:00 pm news. Thank goodness not anymore.
