Young Carson was better than young Dalton, but young Carson never won anything either and he had a lot of talent around him.  We didn't have a pass catching threat at TE like Dalton has now, but Carson had a better O-line (mainly for the running game) and a much better #3 WR in Chris Henry.

Dalton had a better defense, but it didn't usually show up in the playoffs.
