Was it? Hill had a really good rookie year followed up by a sophomore slump. The team had to find out which type of Hill was the outlier.
Plus, this upcoming draft is going to be a strong RB class.
I think it's the perfect time to draft a potential replacement RB for Hill.
I do think that this team needs to find out what type of RB it wants/needs, as having two different types makes the offense too predictable. Right now, it seems teams are finding that the offense is (somewhat) predictable based on which RB comes in.
Does this team need more of a shifty, speedy RB or more of a big, between the tackles RB?
Regardless, I think this team needs a RB that can catch and pass protect.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs
Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
