Another baseless claim backed only by opinion of what you saw. The numbers tell a different story.
All throws 7-9 yards: 14.3 yards on 55 completions
On 3rd and 4+: 13.5 yards on 72 completions
On 3rd and 7-9 (the exact throws you mention): a whopping 17.0 yards on 17 completions
