1. Rivers: 37.8% conversion rate
2. Luck: 36.5%
3. Ben: 35.9%
4. Brady: 33.3%
5. Wilson: 30.9%
6. Cam: 30.6%
7. Carr: 29.5%
8. Dak: 28.4%
9. Palmer: 28.4%
10. A.Smith: 26.8%
11. Flacco: 25.0%
12. Dalton: 24.4%
13. Bradford: 23.5%
14. Eli: 22.2%
I didn't feel like looking up everyone, but this gives a general feel. Dalton is probably among the worst this season. That got me interested in how Dalton fared in previous seasons though, and here's each year:
2011: 25.9%
2012: 32.5%
2013: 37.8%
2014: 27.7%
2015: 37.0%
So most of his seasons compare favorably with even the best QBs I listed above. His best 2 seasons would've ranked 1st and 2nd on the list. So again...this is yet more proof that Dalton does not possess a noodle arm and over the course of his career, he's been far from conservative.
So what was the deal this year? I'm honestly not sure. None of us are. I'd probably argue that the abysmal o-line hurt. 3rd and long + bad pass blocking isn't a good combo.
